I’ve been fortunate to travel the world, filming breathtaking landscapes, and the incredible wildlife that call them home.
From dense rainforests to rugged mountains, tiny insects to brown bears, I want to bring nature to the screen, to connect, educate, and inspire a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

Thieves, scroungers, villains… Hyaena have been misunderstood for centuries, not least in their unflattering portrayal on The Lion King – but that’s not the real story!
We think Spotted Hyaenas are some of the cleverest and sweetest carnivores around. From preventing disease to being fantastic mothers, Hyaena have a lot to offer the animal kingdom.
Spotlight on Spotted Hyaena
Perth Zoo’s two elephants, Permai and Putra Mas, are one step closer to packing their trunks!
Their specially designed transport crates arrived, so the eles can get used to them before embarking on their jumbo journey to Monarto Safari Park.
Elephant carers will be taking small steps each day to ensure Permai and Putra Mas understand these crates are a safe space, before they start their cross-country adventure.
It will be bittersweet to say goodbye to the elephant pair, but their welfare is the guiding principle for their move, with other female elephants to keep Permai company, and an an expansive habitat.
Jumbo Journey for Elephants
Every year, hundreds of black cockatoos receive life-saving medical treatment, before being rehabilitated and released back to the wild.
Conservationists around Western Australia, like Lizzi Helliwell from Native Animal Rescue, have been collaborating for many years to support these iconic native birds.
In 2024, a conservation milestone was reached, with 1000 endangered black cockatoos officially rehabilitated and released.
Without the work of countless vets, nurses, researchers, rehabilitators, volunteers and more, these birds would have been lost forever.
